High-intensity training can have many benefits, but it hasn’t been thought to help chronic brain injuries.
I will say it is not encouraged for acute brain injuries. You need to not break further connections with a recent injury.

TBI, something those exposed to wartime combat situations (grunt or support) can easily get. Often diagnosed along with PTSD.
