When I looked at them in order I thought they started getting gaudy around Super Bowl X. Then after I finished and looked back, that ring didn't look so bad compared to the recent ones.
I'm waiting for the first one with a tiny video screen to play highlight from the game.

I got to hold a Bears Super Bowl ring (XX in 1985) in 1986. All I remember about it is that it was huge, weighed a ton and completely covered my thumb.

We met Lou Brock in Omaha when my son was probably 10 or so & Lou let him try on his World Series and Hall of Fame ring. He and his wife were very gracious to my son and I.

Pretty cool.
ESPN just can't bring themselves to say Washington Redskins. Sad.

The style of the rings went from being classy, to being glorified pimp rings, decades ago.
