Maybe Martin’s best movie. The use of old film noir footage was inspired.

Both of those links are Rita Hayworth. I thought we were talking about Ava Gardner?

You don’t have to do that. I just found it funny that the post you replied to was talking about Ava Gardner, and suddenly found myself watching Rita Hayworth.

I didn’t realize until now that “Carlos” was played by the same actor who played “Poppy” on Seinfeld.

Great movie.
And Rachel Ward’s surgical technique at removing bullets was quite memorable too.

Thank’s for the What’s My Line link.
TV was so mature and fun to watch in the 50s. No burying a crappy show in glitz, glitter, annoying “music,” flash, over-the-top modern graphics, fast cuts, and lame dialog.
That was filmed when I was two years old, just a bit before my time, but i remember the show until 1964 when it went off the air. Ava Gardner was really a babe and what a gorgeous, silky voice.

She was married to Frank Sinatra at the time.
Bennett Cerf figured it out

'The Bribe' scene with Charles Laughton and Ava Gardner Future remakes will require scenes setting up shell companies and electronic transfers for bribes - ask Hunter and Traitor Joe.
