SF government makes the mistake that nice, efficient, climate-friendly toilets would actually be used by the homeless. They won’t. I think homeless people intentionally prefer to dump out on the street in lieu of somewhere out of sight. Why? Protest commentary/action, showing their hatred for society and overall laziness. SF should have chartered a bunch of buses and just rounded some up and transported them to Albuquerque or somewhere.

The Forest Service has these precast concrete restrooms that can be delivered on a flatbed in a day.
It’s going to constantly be clogged with tp and poo so who’s going to plunge and clean it? Oh, never mind, it’s San Franchitsco.

I was looking up what year it was in Seattle (2015?) and got sidetracked on a public toilet design in Portland. The bottom 1-foot or so was open and visible to people on the sidewalk.
With a number to call on the door if a passerby noticed a person passed out on the floor.
