True. Heard a brief explanation once. Some people are self-centered and show disdain, hostility, contempt and other emotions so often that their faces sort of carve these in as the new replacement cells come in. Pinched corners of the mouth and eyes, frowning, “parentheses” show in the wrinkles.
Others who are kind people show wrinkles after the underlying fat and moisture layers recede with aging but may show results of loving concern for loved ones, compassion and sorrow over their being now lost to death.
The speaker said our faces are like an artist’s painting with the life events leaving traces.
