The cause of the accident remains under investigation, the National Transportation Safety Board said, noting that a preliminary report would be completed in a few weeks. A probable cause report, however, will take between one to two years.

It sounds somewhat crass to say at this time, but at least 2 MIT graduates on board? They must have been hard at work studying DEI while they were enrolled as students.

You don’t know anything about them? Or you do? Do you know their grades? Special projects? Courses taken?
No “sorry they died”. Just a cheap shot about them and DEI.

Ferrier, an Australian known in the experimental aircraft community, was an MIT graduate with a degree in aerospace engineering. Sounds like it was a motor problem. I was wondering if the plane flew before.
