I stayed in a 3-bedroom suite at Trump's Ireland hotel that costs over $1,300 a night. It felt straight out of a fairytale.

I wish it had been me, personally! Seeing this article on Yahoo actually shocked me--it is overwhelmingly positive, with photos. If it's not real, then Trump's team is doing some great PR.

I would love going there. Trumps really know what they are doing when it comes to hospitality

Didn't Alexis Vogelzang get the memo? If you can't say something bad about President Trump, don't say anything at all.
I suspect Alexis just put his career on the line...

Positive article, but as expected, negative, dishonest comments.
To: Albion Wilde
That is not a high price for that kind of accommodations. Especially 3 bedrooms. Split between two other people it is a bargain.
And of course the comments are mostly “ORANGE MAN BAD, REEEEEEE” completely ignoring Trump made money selling services to people who want them. The Biden scumbags made money taking bribes and selling out the country to our enemies.

Just visited the website. Rooms in April only about $300/night (suites are $600+)
I think the author of the article booked the largest, most expensive suite
Otherwise prices for this Trump hotel are fairly reasonable for a luxury hotel in scenic area.

Am I the only one who sees luxury hotels as a waste? When I'm on vacation, the hotel is a place to sleep, "sleep", shower and change clothes between doing vacation stuff. Time spent in the room is vacation time wasted.
I'm not looking for a Motel 5½, but if it clean, quiet and the bed is comfortable I'm happy.

Here's what staying at the hotel was like. You have to wonder it that's why Yahoo reprinted the article--to harvest the vitriol of their typical lo-info readers. Comment after comment repeats that $1300 a night is outrageous, without calculating that four people stayed there who ordinarilly are residents of two or three households, so did not want to all bunk together. $425 a night per person for luxury accommodations it not so bad if your income is adequate for that sort of travel.

“I think the author of the article booked the largest, most expensive suite”
Nope, they got upgraded.
I suspect this is just one big commercial for the hotel.
👇
“I paid 765 euros, or about $840, a night, for a two-bedroom ocean-view suite at the Trump International Hotel in Doonbeg, Ireland. I thought it’d be the most comfortable option to accommodate me, my fiancé, my mother, and my daughter.
Though we paid for a two-bedroom suite, we were upgraded to a three-bedroom suite, which typically costs about 1,250 euros, or $1,360, a night.

Am I the only one who sees luxury hotels as a waste? When I'm on vacation...Time spent in the room is vacation time wasted.Don't knock it til you've tried it. When I was running an exhausting business, my first 24 hours at my favorite seaside getaway were spent sleeping, listening to the ocean if I woke up, and sleeping some more.
We are a free country where people of vastly different tastes have a wide range of favorite things, values, and abilities to live in this way or that. I'm not in a position to stay in a luxury hotel, but I don't begrudge it to those who are, since apparently these folks felt they received great service for their money.
