Last was 2011.
Unfortunately, my link to playing Dubs Dread [Western Open] passed away.
He and I were humiliated once on that course.
dubs is open to the public. my first round there was on my last birthday. a b’day present to myself.
I won’t go back. too pricey for what it is\was (there is a whisper about another remodel)
it was jemsek’s st. andrews on steroids.
Bunkers needed a lot of work. A lot of burnt out patches in the fairways.
Fairways were crab-grassed - greens were uneven regarding stimp at best...had ant hills.
I’d rather play mistwood or cantigny for that money.
Speaking of humiliated, seems rumor has it (Un-named sources and all that) the May nominating Convention is Democrat GO time:
