Balwin is extremely knowledgeable about guns.
In his actor’s marketing bio he used to list gun handling experience as part of the talent he brings with his acting.
Alec’s father had been shot on the rifle range as a Marine shooting instructor.
Here is an excerpt from Baldwin’s book on him, the Baldwin boys knew guns, so Alec chose what he wanted to do or not do in regard to safety.
” He coached football at the school. Led a cub scout troop. Coached Little League. And was coach of the Massapequa High School rifle team, which went to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association state riflery championship twice during his career. That honor was nearly always the reserve of upstate, and therefore more rural, schools. For a “downstate” school to win was considered impossible. My father’s team won both times.
Years later, doctors informed me that the inhalation of lead dust from working in an unventilated rifle range may have contributed significantly to his death. On Parris Island in 1945, a bullet would not kill him. But bullets eventually did, at the age of 55, from lymph cancer that spread through his body.”

Alec’s father taught riflery for 28 years. I bet his dad had quite a collection....and I’ll bet Alec was shooting at age 10.
But Hall gave it to Baldwin and declared it cold.
It looks like Hall was paid off and has disappeared. That should not be.
Shes in charge of all the weapons on set regardless who hands what to whom. Thats what the armorer does.
I understand her role....but there are other people involved...
There was one other person involved. And he can be charged if he said it was clear. But if she had done her job as armorer this should not have occurred. Instead she said the weapon was safe.
How long does it take to replace a blank...and set it to be the next bullet out.
And lock him up for a very long time.
Preferably for the rest of his life.

The armorer is not anyone else on set. Thats the sole reason they are there. To ensure the weapons are safe and secure.
Your specious statement can be said for every movie made with weapons, its irrelevant because it can happen anywhere. And the armorers would still be responsible if it did. Sheesh.
The young inexperienced, incompetent, careless, dangerous, girl that Baldwin hired wasn’t even in the building, she was a part of the circus Baldwin was running in relation to guns and carelessness with repeated accidental discharges and crew members complaining about gun dangers.
That pistol was being used for target practice, she had just been chastised for terrible gun care on the Nicholas Cage film.

Gutierrez-Reed’s alleged misstep happened on the set of the upcoming Nicholas Cage film, “The Old Way” and temporarily halted filming, sources told The Daily Beast.
“She was reloading the gun on the ground, where there were pebbles and stuff,” one source told the outlet. “We didn’t see her check it, we didn’t know if something got in the barrel or not.”
Gutierrez-Reed reportedly handed the gun to child actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong, forcing concerned crew members to intervene, the report said. The gun was then checked for barrel obstruction, according to the sources.
“She was a bit careless with the guns, waving it around every now and again,” a source said.
“There were a couple times she was loading the blanks and doing it in a fashion that we thought was unsafe.”
A “Rust” production source described Reed as “inexperienced and green,” to the outlet, adding that there had been two other incidents of accidental discharges by crew members.”

I know her history. She is an adult female and she accepted the job despite all this. She also would have contested how inept you portrayed her to the point you were defamatory. As a producer Alec is guilty of hiring her.
My favorite Alec Baldwin story is when he left the message for his 11 year old daughter when he called her a sniveling little $hit.
I don’t think this qualifies.
