There are currently no future touring plans in place for the Who, and Roger Daltrey is content with that.
The singer recently spoke with The Times about the band’s status, explaining that he’d need to discuss whatever happens next with bandmate Pete Townshend. “I don’t write the songs. I never did,” Daltrey said. “We need to sit down and have a meeting, but at the moment I’m happy saying that part of my life is over.”

No one's getting fat except Mama Cass.
“at the moment I’m happy saying that part of my life is over.””
Roger that!
I’m 70 and feel the same way. I had open heart surgery last may and when the anesthesiologist told me to take that second breath I said to myself, “if I don’t make it, this is the end.” And I was fine with that. But I made it.😁
Apparently God’s not done with me yet. 😎
The first time I saw the WHO was at the Long Beach Arena in the early ‘70’s. Townsend went on a profanity laced tirade at the audience (I understand that was not uncommon).
The concert was recorded and released as a bootleg, which became pretty popular.
The Who are playing a two night gig in March at the Royal Albert Hall London for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity.
They aint done quite yet.
I’m glad you said that because I was kind of freaking out over that idea.
Still, they both died in Nilssons flat. Yeah. The rock crowd burned the candle at both ends.
The night before Mama Cass called up and said, "Doctor, ain't there nothing I can take I said, Doctor, to relieve this bellyache?"
This is what got The Who banned from Top Of The Pops, Pete was not a happy camper to say the least.

A friend and his wife went to the Jeff Beck memorial concert at the Ryal Albert Hall. They sat at the top level. His comment was the place was a dump, badly in need of an upgrade. But maybe that is just the poor seats.
I think this is relevant regarding Cass:

Yeah. I remember the news reports when cass died. I believed for years that she died choking on a sandwich. Made for a good story but was untrue.
At the show I was at, he was pissed because people were shouting out requests. Best as I recall it was:
"shut he F up!!! We are a professional band and we are going to play every F'n song you want to hear. So shut up, sit back and enjoy the F'n show!
There was more, but its been too many years
She didn’t die chocking on a sandwich. It was a panini.
Heart attack which is not surmising given her weight.
Evidently Cass Elliot actually didn’t die choking on a ham sandwich. She died of a heart attack.
That happened when you were seeing Pat Boone?
John Entwistle had the greatest rock and roll death of all of them. Died head buried Scarface-style in a mountain of cocaine with a harem of top-shelf Vegas hookers picking through his pockets.
And the cherry on top, he died in debt to the tax man.
“It was a flat that was owned by singer Harry Nilsson, who hardly ever used it, so he often let other musicians he was friends with stay there when he wasn’t in London.”
The night before Mama Cass called up and said, “Doctor, ain’t there nothing I can take I said, Doctor, to relieve this bellyache?”
