I think we need a nationwide Super Tuesday primary.
Do we really like the idea of a bunch of Iowans choosing who the candidate is going to be?
The candidate with the most money and best ads will always win such a nominating process. Running in a state like Iowa puts a premium on shoe leather and organization and gives longshot candidates with good platforms a chance, which they would not have in a national primary day.
FYI, it’s more than just Iowans choosing the candidate. RDS planted himself in Iowa 6 months ago, but apparently ppl just didn’t buy what he was selling, which should tell you something.

How about a nationwide Super Tuesday caucus instead?
Iowa almost never chooses the candidate. What it does is give unknowns exposure and ends weak candidates completely, despite how much money they spend.
Caucuses are party processes and remove interference by opposition parties acting through the legislature.
