And might you wonder why the Biden administration wants to ‘look into’ him?
In November 2023, the Biden FCC issued a Prevention and Elimination of Digital Discrimination (PEDD) order. This order forbids any internet access practices that “differentially impact consumers’ access to broadband internet access service based on their income level, race, ethnicity, color, religion or national origin, or are intended to have such differential impact.” The lawless test of differential impact (rather than differential treatment) became ordinary for such regulations. Considering income level as a protected characteristic is a novel theory. The order also puts the onus of proof on the providers: guilty until proven innocent. Essentially, it makes the provision of internet access subject to the federal government's discretion. Furthermore, it applies not only to persons engaged in providing internet access, but also to their contractors and partners.
Commissioner Brendan Carr perfectly characterized this ruling in his excellent dissent: “The Biden Administration’s entire approach to the Internet ... can be boiled down to one word: control. ... You can see it in the Biden Administration’s campaign to pressure Internet companies into censoring Americans’ protected political speech — a coordinated effort that is now on appeal to the Supreme Court.” Also, “President Biden’s plan effectively hands the Administrative State veto power over every decision about the provision of Internet service in the country,” and “there is no path to complying with this standardless regime.”
This PEDD order underscores the ruling Democrat-Socialist regime's understanding that it has maintained control over the U.S. internet since 2010 (Obama-era net neutrality, or Obamanet) and the desire to maintain this control at all costs.
Starlink and Elon Musk

The left does not like losing control.
Yeah, that cell one that he’s launching will also be frustrating to those wanting to curtail access to the internet.
He needs to make a big server farm and drop X on it so that people can still access it if the ‘internet goes down.’ Maybe keep a crypto exchange and other basic services on there as well.
The Left is a wounded animal. And you know what is said about wounded animals.
Suburbanites need hospital care closer to their homes.
I still cannot believe they allowed him to buy Twitter.
A wounded animal would be suffering. The leftists are not suffering at all. What Freepers will gleefully vocalize as a victory against the DEMs almost always turns into a defeat for conservatives. Wounded my ass!
Well I wish he would destroy Microsoft while he’s at it.
“In November 2023, the Biden FCC issued a Prevention and Elimination of Digital Discrimination (PEDD) order”

The Biden FCC should have called it “Prevention and Elimination of Digital Oppression (PEDO)”
They should be put out of their misery? 😁
Personally I’m waiting for the order forbidding any tax practices that “differentially impact workers’ tax levels based on their income level, race, ethnicity, color, religion or national origin, or are intended to have such differential impact.”
But since you mentioned it, the Harvard Board is under attack for pushing DEI over scholarship (and endowments and enrollment are declining), the military is having trouble finding new recruits, corporate financial support for DEI is in decline (per Al Sharpton), Boeing is unraveling, Woke companies are laying off workers and profits are in decline (Disney, Pixel), Woke media has seen a steep decline in viewership, United Airlines customers (make that former customers) are saying they are troubled by United's new crossdressing CEO...and Trump just won big in Iowa.
Need I go on?
At the end, they MADE him buy Twitter.
This is going to upset the Musk cult, but Starlink is actually controlled by the DoD and intelligence agencies and is also controlling “user experience”. I have been using it for about eight months now and as a developer I have been keeping notes. They are logging everything and controlling “misinformation” too.
It is the proverbial skynet and tracking everything including cell phones. In fact, I just tried to post this article in another forum and Starlink shut me off and made me reconnect before I could submit it with a second try. They tried to discourage me from reposting it.
If it helps Elon, he can put me down as a handicapped, Native American, bisexual transvestite with a Spanish surname. My pronouns vary by my mood. Don’t get them wrong.

It's really only a velvet glove to cover the same old iron fist within.
Liberty is built on being able to "dissent" or "oppose" one way of thinking / acting / speaking. Liberty is what this nation was built upon. It is still a very new concept in the long history of man.
Liberty for all. Amen.

I’ve seen self driving cars moving around Phoenix. This could eliminate the need for ones’ own car and just think-garages. No car insurance. No highway patrol. Convert the garage to a br, sports bar, play center. One can even put a wood stove in them and burn free firewood that’s lying around. Living rooms can do more living as tv’s get moved to the garage. Starts with Musk, the left’s sworn enemy. Glad he’s a young 50-something.
After I read in January 2022 that “Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program, a new long-term, $14 billion program, with “new ways to qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program such as: receiving WIC benefits or having an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines [levels],” then I decided to investigate some of this growing dependency upon government (which is to be obeyed except when in conflict with the Bible).
You can do that now with Uber. I’m holding out for a Jetson mobile.

Indeed. Musk played them like a fiddle.
