It's not a "Nazi" salute. It's the "Roman salute" adopted by Mussolini's fascists and copied by the Nazis.
The media likes to minimize the support for the right in Italy, but it's far larger than they show.
I was in a museum last year in the former Pontine Marshes that Mussolini did a lot to drain and settle. The placards still referred to him as "Il Duce."

Nazi salute Idiot reporter doesn't know the difference between Nazis and Fascist. Perhaps he or she should study some Jewish history and learn what happened to the Jews after the Fascists lost power and the Nazis took over in northern Italy.
