The sons and daughters of Indians have for years had a positive knack for getting on in academia and the professions. These days, politics seems to be another field of human endeavor at which they are excelling.

Here are the main ones (not all):
London’s Mayor Sadiq Kahn—seemingly pro-criminal he has overseen a huge increase in knife crime and murder. He is also pro-diversity/WOKE and has hidden the statue of Churchill under coverings and removed others. he seems to have a socialistic bent as he froze privately held rental property rates, pushed Islamization of London, marched with the LGBTQ.
He is widely criticized by all conservative groups in the UK and appears to me at least to be a radical leftist.
Scotland’s First Minster Humsa Yousaf— elected by a population of something like over 90% Scottish white inhabitants, Yousaf complained publicly “most senior positions in Scotland are filled almost exclusively by people who are white”…enough said.
Ireland’s Taoiseach is Leo Varadkar—-while gay he seems to be relatively conservative.
UKs PM is Rishi Sunak—-also supposedly a conservative he states he wants the UK to be the most welcoming country in the world for LGBTQ. He was also in charge during much of COVID and saw their (also) overly restrictive approach. Yet immigration rates have continued to be very high despite some efforts by him to limit it.
The later 2 seem more like our NeoCons than true conservatives IMO.
If Nikki Haley (Nimarata Randhawa ) wins this election we will see the odd reality of almost ALL of the Northern Hemisphere English Speaking world being ruled by a relative handful of people of Indian descent. Now for the record I don’t have ill will towards SW Asians because of their heritage, on the other hand how is it representative democracy to have one ethnic group making up about 1 and 3 % (respectively USA and British Isles) of the total population and control (obviously not counting India itself) a sizable chunk of an entire global region?
It’s also worth pointing out almost 1/2 of the current Republican POTUS Candidates are of Indian Heritage (Ramaswamy I highly favor over Halley).
Like the elder gentlemen in the video speculates, maybe that group is just more intelligent than everyone else???
PS Someone just told me Kama Harris is 1/2 Indian, I searched it and it seems true. Her mothers maiden name was Shyamala Gopalan.

Nikki Haley nor Vivek RamaSwampy will never be president or vice president. They are not natural born Citizens and thus ineligible. They are Citizens, not natural born Citizens the founders wanted to hold the office. The founders wanted a president to be born with SOLE Allegiance to America. Anchor babies are born with dual allegiances.

I would put Haley’s and Ramaswamy’s chances of becoming President at about 1% at this point, and Harris’ chances at maybe 5% (given her place in the line of succession).

Agree. In my own obviously non-universal experience, the Indians are a bifurcated population — either extremely agreeable and genuinely helpful, or else flaming a-holes.
Ramaswammy is not an “Indian”. He is an American of Indian extraction. And he at least talks like he believes in MAGA, unlike a big segment of our citizens of Europen extraction.

Historically speaking, it’s an interesting subject.
Since the end of WWII, about all the military conflicts America has been involved in concerned helping non-white territories.
Ukraine is a rare exception though. Ukrainians are to a wide extent descendants of the Vikings.

Vivek has a way to go before most people would trust him. He kind of sprang onto the scene too quick acting MAGA but he would have to prove he is legit.
Going around advertising himself as the guy who will be Trump if Trump isn’t allowed to run makes people very skeptical of him.
