I honestly hope so. If it’s someone making fun of these people, I can dig it.
I stopped into a drugstore for a couple of things yesterday morning and there were two girls/women behind me in line talking in that annoying upspeak pattern. I wanted to ask them what part of California they were from.
A couple of years ago, I was driving out of my neighborhood residential streets and a teenaged looking girl pulled out in front of me from her side street.
We both hit the brakes hard coming to a screeching halt just inches apart. We could see each other thru the windshields very clearly.
She then wagged her CELL PHONE at me, and scowled as if I was at fault for interrupting her conversation!.............
