It’s the bride’s day. She can do as she wishes. And yes, I certainly get why the father would be hurt here.

In cases like these, it’s important that no one burn any bridges. And since the father is older (and wiser), I hope he’ll be more understanding.

A situation just as minor as this one tore my family in half. Too many bridges were burned too early. No one chose to be the bigger person.
