Recently I was behind an EBT customer at the supermarket checkout. Swiped her card and was on her way, no questions asked. When it was my turn, cashier ran my $50 bill under the ultraviolet to see if it was real.

What’s your point? EBT card in all 50 states has a PIN, like any debit card.
