There are several bunkers on Roi Namur. You can see where they were hit by US ships.
I worked building the power plant ,heavy equipment crew ,back in ‘93 , I just wondered if the lead lined building was still there, it was never used , EPA rules , there was a burnt coconut palm tree at the end of the runway, next to a microwave radar . A siren would sound anytime it used.
