That’s kinda what I was trying to say in my ramblings. This was planned. Their first attack, our reactive attack, and now the Yemeni and other Muslim country governments have all they need to gin up their populace for support to go to war with the western allies.
It’s the perfect recipe to start WWIII. It’s not original though. This is a very old tactic.

The Yemeni government has tolerated, and allowed terrorist groups to operate within its country. They are their enablers. No one involved in the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole was ever brought to justice. The Yemeni government would not extradite anyone the U.S. Dept. of Justice had indicted in the case, and although Yemen had "arrested" some of those involved, they were either released or escaped from custody.
We have had zero concern or interest in them until they started to eff around with attacking international shipping. I suspect if they stop attacking global shipping, they will once again drop off our radar.
They don't like the bombs, then they shouldn't coddle and protect terrorists.
True and to make it worse, our own government is working with them to make it all happen. This is not spontaneous. It has been planned for a very long time. The exact time and circumstances weren't but the goal to take down America, especially white people, has.
Remember the U.S.S. Cole. The Yemeni government has harbored terrorists groups and allowed them to operate with impunity. They enabled these groups to thrive, and carry out their attacks.

China plays a significant role in all of this mess, including the Houthi attacks on shipping lanes. Those stealthy bastard Chinese pulling strings and few blame them.
They are celebrating. They knew that their attacks would draw a reaction, as planned by Russia and Iran. They really didn't give us much of a choice. Abandon Israel and cede freedom of commerce through the Red Sea to terrorists, or strike them. I'm sure these "protesters" were getting tired of waiting for us to make up our minds.

This has been a one way escalation and it is not been fr the US.
Oil is still barely budging since Oct 6th indicating wide escalation is still an unlikely outcome.
There were probably IRG and FSB agents handing out the equivalent of $5 bills to each one of those protesting.
Yemen doesn’t bother me. Or concern me.
