Libertarian here-registered. Ron Paul was critical of the taking out of Qasem Soleimani. He even said a few good things about him. Libertarians have their heads buried in the sand.
That was one of the few baffling episodes in Trump's term in office.
Not that I give a damn about Soleimani, but the reporting on it was odd and I'm not sure it was the right thing to do. The initial reports made it sound like the guy was leading a covert military campaign in Iraq, but it turned out he flew into Baghdad on a civilian aircraft as a visitor from Iran with the full approval of Iraq's government.
I don't see how that would be any different than Iranian assassins sent to take out a Saudi character here in Washington D.C.
