CHICAGO (AP) — A 29-year-old Chicago woman has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder after authorities said she helped her mother kill a pregnant woman whose baby was cut from her womb.
Desiree Figueroa's plea was made Monday at the Leighton Criminal Court Building. It stipulates that she testify against her mother, Clarisa Figueroa, whose trial is scheduled to start later this month, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Pure evil. Demonic.
But, no death penalty in Illinois. Mom will get three hots and a cot, free medical and dental, and probably some pen pals on the outside. Taxpayers will support her for the duration. Of course, she won’t be popular in prison so she’ll enjoy protective custody.
These two would be executed forthwith if we had a just society.

FFS, if she pled guilty, it need no longer be alleged. Is a racial factor involved here?
A couple was sentenced to death in Illinois, for that. The governor decided that the penalty was cruel, so they get to live out their life.
