Allowing the Houthis to bottleneck trade in the Red Sea will raise the worldwide price of goods. Now the problem admittedly will be less bad in the US than everywhere else, so the Europeans and Chinese ought to be taking the lead, but it will def raise prices in the US as well.
If you think they do, then you've just vindicated every open-borders globalist in Washington who has established a policy of flooding this country with immigrants just to suppress the wages of working Americans ... while those same working Americans are paying the cost of having the U.S. Navy maintain open sea lanes for 6+ billion other people around the world.
