I am sure all he had to do was ask for the sandwich to cut in half.

After posting a $1,000 bond, De Barros was released from custody at the Martin County jail. He is scheduled for an arraignment on Feb. 1.
I know they discontinued “The Five Dollar Foot Long” but this is ridiculous! $1,000 for a Sub Sandwich???!!!

That’s a rough looking 54 ...
And why the eff didn’t he pull out his pocket knife and cut it in half himself?

If you want a puzzled look, ask for a 1/3 lb at the deli instead of a half or full pound.

Two of the most important words in the English language are “please” and “sorry”. As in:
Customer: Please cut this sandwich in half.
Worker: Oh, sorry. Sure.
Neither word is really necessary. But they go a long way to keeping things calm. And now a pet peeve of mine. I wish cops would use those two words more often. It can help to keep things calm.
Cop: “License, registration, and proof of insurance. You’re getting a ticket.”
Better:
Cop: “License, registration, and proof of insurance please. Sorry, but you’re getting a ticket.”

pre 1970 this guy would have gotten a black eye and a fat lip for his behavior. but nobody does that any more. so this behavior continues to grow in society.

Alberto De Barros ordered a sandwich at a Subway in Stuart, Florida on Tuesday, Jan. 9, but was
"upset" with the sandwich artist upon discovering that the sandwich had not been sliced in half.
