Some of my earliest memories as a kid was watching his exercise show in the morning.....even that young I wished he woulda lost the balarina slippers though......not a good look. 😏
Interestingly, when I last got seriously into weightlifting, I started wearing the Vibram ‘toe shoes’ or ‘shoe gloves’ and MAN did they help with anything where I was on my feet, such as squats, deadlifts, and military press. Having heels higher than toes or ball of foot is not a really good thing for a lot of lifting (especially kettlebell get-ups).
That was explained there was nothing else available at the time.
Same here. Our housekeeper would do the exercises with him and I would join in. I couldn’t have been older than 2 or 3 but I remember it well.
