Kudos to that young man for his assessment. Also the game was closer than the final score. There were several times Washington could have matched MI, even into the 4th quarter.

Is that article AI-produced gibberish, or was it written in a foreign language and then translated to English?

We listened to the game on AM radio.
Any thoughts on the quality of the officiating from anyone who watched...?

Yes indeed. I thought Harbaugh’s decision to go for it on 4th and 3 in the 2nd quarter (which failed) had opened the door for the Huskies to get back into it and possibly win. And Washington’s next TD didn’t change my mind. But Michigan’s D and Penix’s mistakes...and some help from penalties...sealed the deal.

Michigan defense repeated performance of what they did to Ohio state
Michigan offense was possessed looked like game was over after 15 minutes
This game was about the Washington defense not showing up and they left at the end of the third quarter
To: where's_the_Outrage?
This game wasn’t about Penix. It was about the best team winning, and that’s what happened.

Officiating was fine- there were a few PI penalties that could’ve been called on both sides but they let both teams play

He was not good but that’s Pennix- he’s a streaky passer and you don’t know what you’re getting from him week to week

Officials kept flags in their pockets first half. Threw pass interference flags in second half, most on Michigan, and all deserved. Couple O-line holding calls on W, deserved. Did not think officiating had big impact on game outcome, not slanted to one side, and didn’t see many missed/wrong calls. M defensive strategy, and D-line pressure with 4-man pass rush was better than W offense.

I saw that he chose between Washington and UCF when he transferred from wherever.

Penix is deflated that he didn’t penetrate the end zone.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
I saw receivers getting passes from Penix right into their hands and dropping the ball. The crowd was so loud that Penix’s clap signalling the hike was not heard and players moved when they thought they heard the clap. Lots of yardage was lost from illegal motion and offside.
