The carbon in that coal was safely sequestered in the bowels of the Earth. When converted to fodder and fed to livestock, it is eventually released into the atmosphere.
The carbon in natural grass was captured from the atmosphere. That's the difference!
IF you believe in anthropogenic climate change, you should be against coal-to-fodder!
