Canto had been privately diagnosed with appendiceal cancer before his death
Actor Adan Canto, best known for his work on The Cleaning Lady and Designated Survivor, has died.
Canto died following a private journey with appendiceal cancer, according to The Wrap. He was 42 years old.
"Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew. Those who glimpsed it were changed forever," Canto's reps at UTA, Entertainment360 and Viewpoint said, per Deadline. "He will be greatly missed by so many."

Good actor. I don’t know his ideologies but he came across as a stand-up guy.
I really hate cancer. It takes so many good people and animals. I’ve lost 3 great dogs to it. One just recently.
Never heard of him.
I will not miss him.
We all hate cancer. Don’t let vets give needles to your dogs. I’m sorry, I know what it’s like to lose great dogs.
