We've been dealing with doctors incompetence for years over different maladies. Nothing shocks me anymore. Most have tunnel vision, do NOT listen to the patient and have no idea what the poly pharmacia they load you down with interacts with one another never mind what the side effects are. My wife suffered side effects from one of her medicines, her GP said impossible, went to a specialist who declared impossible, went into a Regional Hospital and was told impossible but I found out it is possible if they would take the time to research it like I did.
Our medical system is dysfunctional. I could write a book about the runarounds we've encountered.
