There is only one national command authority.
The national command authority is the constitutionally mandated, congressionally required, DoD-directed unbroken chain of command from the president of the United States as our commander-in-chief to the secretary of Defense.
Our entire Department of Defense — the brave men and women in uniform, rely on this chain of command every single day to execute the no-fail mission of protecting this great nation. There is no greater national security priority than maintaining its authority, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Any SECDEF who is absent in his duties and fails to notify the chain of command has committed one of the most egregious acts against the national defense of this nation.
5 wars if you count Ukraine, Israel ( both of which we are supporting), Iraq and Syria where our troops are under fire, and the Red Sea where a weak enemy keeps trying to attack our ships…and those of allies
Egregious acts of failure of protocol are common with this administration.
“The entire fraudulent Biden administration has been, and is, a disaster for this nation from day 1.”
And just think. They have an entire year to complete their mission... and their time is running out. No telling what will happen next.
You are obviously unfamiliar with the NCA
Even wiki will add to your understanding

My first suspicion was something tranny given Biden Admin dysfunction and weirdness but I am leaning towards stomach LAP - Band for weight loss.
I believe it still is. President to Secretary of Defense (Homeland Security for Coast Guard) to appropriate unified combatant command and down the ranks. He’s number 6 in order of succession after VP, House Speaker, Senate Pro Tempore, State, Treasury then Defense. All Democrats except Mike Johnson.
I think 6th in line refers to presidential succession. Sec Def is 6th in line. I’m thinking you are referring to a nuclear launch order. President sends next to SecDef who confirms President’s identity but cannot veto him.
So yes, if Austin was incapacitated in a hospital and told nobody, it’s serious. It would take time to realize he was missing and go around, fire him or whatever the law requires, and use his deputy or whoever.
He is a critical node in nuclear launch orders. Not 6th in that system. 6th is just in replacing the President.
I think NCA was destroyed when the DoD refused to listen to CiC Trump. Keeping the power away from his successor Biden was trivial, after that.
Hadn't considered that one but a definite possibility.
That makes it even worse since we have an AWOL Sec Of Defense and an AWOL gerbil at the same time.
Could also perhaps be a sex toy stuck in bad place. Or maybe the pain thing was just a cover story so he could get the batteries changed.
The question is, who really runs it?

My money is on none of the likely suspects - too obvious.
Then there is the Rothchild Family whose net worth is north of $500 TRILLION.
the boi has got to go...
Okay.... And?
Has there been a proof of life video since Sec. Austin went missing?
“it could have been a bariatric procedure or liposuction. Or perhaps a scrotal tuck or hemorrhoid reduction”
Ok, but wouldn’t revealing why he was hospitalized be less problematic than doing what he’s done?
Yes, of course. He should at least have informed those closest to him, those who would have to act if something went terribly wrong. What if he died on the operating table or dropped into a coma in the ICU? He is required by law to inform both houses of Congress of any change in the chain of command. There is already talk of impeachment, this incident being the final straw.
“You are obviously unfamiliar with the NCA”
I was a TACAMO crewman/radio operator.
I am INTIMATELY familiar with the NCA.
The OFFICE of Secdef is in the chain, not necessarily the SECDEF. And launch orders bypass secdef altogether and go from POTUS to JCS/Crystal Palace/Cheyenne Ops Center.
Kash Patel was the Chief of Staff to Trumps SecDef.
And long experienced in NSC and legal advising to the military.
I trust his analysis of how Austins AWOL impacted the NCA…
So….think some staff bureaucrat not elected nor confirmed by the Senate for cabinet office, “ in the SecDefs office” can sign off on authorizing military orders issued at the national strategic level. Biden’s orders only.
It’s about all of it. It’s about judgement honesty dependability character…..
