Crooner Michael Bolton has revealed that just before the holidays he had to have "immediate surgery" to remove a brain tumor. He said in a Facebook post that thanks to his "incredible medical team, the surgery was a success."
"I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family," he wrote. He added that for the next few months, he'll be focusing his time and energy on his recovery and will have to take "a temporary break" from touring.

Brain tumor...Sounds scary...I wish him a good luck with recovery...I saw him at a Hollywood Bowl concert several months ago...He is now 70 years old...Michael said hi to his grandson at the concert...

I gotta tell you, when he sings “when a man loves a woman”, well it just doesn’t get any better than that

I’m reminded of the saga of the legendary jazz guitarist Pat Martino who had a brain hemorrhage. When he recovered he had no memory and no idea who he was or that he even a guitarist.
Martino had to relearn his craft and for the second time became a great jazz guitarist.
Hopefully Michael will fully recover.

I gained a lot of respect for him after he did that. That was really cool.
