Well to be fair my high school gym teacher back in the 1980’s probably weighed a good 350 pounds. Likely had the easiest job in existence, he would waddle out of his office which was right off the gym, tell us to play basketball or run around the track or something and then waddle back in and we wouldn’t even see him the rest of the class.
That was my thought when he mentioned it.
He was also homosexual, so I knew real reason for his chosen occupation.

K-12 gym classes are about helping kids get or stay fit.
A 400 pound person is not fit and is no kind of role model for kids in gym class.
