Jut wondering what Freepers here think, is 2024 going to be more like 1860 or 1980?
1860, if red states start pulling Joe off the ballot.
I’m hopeful it’s 1980, but I won’t rule-out 1860.
What happened in 1860?
More like 1940….
The Civil War.
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking...
More like 1933 over in you know where.
Leftists will riot if the Democrats lose, and the Democrats are pulling out all the stops to insure that they don’t.
Since the Dems project onto others what they intend to do themselves, we can expect them to 1) cheat, and 2) if unsuccessful, to refuse to accept the results. So 1860 here we come.
That is not going to happen. The Leadership on our side does not have the intestinal fortitude to pull it off. They prefer going after President Trump. hoping to curry favor with the Democrats.
Praying for 1980, but guessing at 1860.
Ironically, back in 2019 I felt like we were in 1932 — the year before Hitler and the dying days of Prohibition, when decadence seemed at its lowest. I even watched 1932 “pre-Code” films to get into the spirit.
1980
It will be Morning in America once again.
Even better. Heads are gonna roll.
It’ll be EPIC
I vote for the 80s.
Big Hair, Large Hoop earrings; 5 inch CFM heels and short skirts and disco makes a brief comeback ?
Heck yeah.
My money’s on 1932.
Let them riot and burn their neighborhoods.
I could care less about their deserts.
Most Democrats contribute NOTHING tangible to American society.
They would not survive coming after me.
What happened in 1860?
Did you miss that semester??
:-)
The obesity rate was 13% in 1980. I’m guessing it was way lower in 1860, especially among poor people. In 2024 the obesity rate will be 40%+ and the poor will be the most likely to be obese. So it will be pretty different at least as far as fatness goes.
Freegards
1932…..the year I was born…..yep , I am old .
A combo, 1860 for social/political unrest and 1980 with continued financial distress similar to 1980, which will push the 1860 issues.
😂😂
