Why is everyone on the Left acting so squirrelly?
As every parent knows: you figure out which child broke mom’s favorite vase by how the kids behave, not what they say. Despite their protestations to the contrary, aren’t the Dems behaving as if they’re guilty?
Don’t misunderstand -- I don’t for one nanosecond believe that we will be hearing any cell doors slamming on our leftist army of miscreants. However, said miscreants are clearly acting as if their future is considerably less bright than it seemed in 2021.
Hunter Biden has defied a congressional subpoena, because apparently committing a felony is easier than refusing to self-incriminate. Maybe his law degree didn’t cover the 5th Amendment. Let me explain it to the guy with the Yale law degree: You don’t have to talk, but you do have to show up.
Hunter also declared that he will leave the country if Donald Trump is elected next year. He seems to think it will be impossible for him to get a fair trial under a Trump DoJ. His declaration sounded a lot like one of those temper tantrum threats from celebrities -- that they’ll deny us their glorious presence if we don’t elect their preferred Marxist. But in Hunter’s case, it’s actually something much more legally significant -- a public announcement that he’s a flight risk. That is very unwise behavior for someone under indictment.
Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked the Supreme Court to verify that Joe Biden can be prosecuted after leaving office, for any crimes that he committed while President. You know, something like obstruction of justice for telling his kid to defy a subpoena -- as Karine Jean-Pierre reports he did.

... but our president Donald Trump has not demonstrated a history of going after anyone.

... and, from what they have accurately concluded from observing how millions upon millions of American "men" behaved during the Fauci Flu debacle, demonstrating a complete lack of courage and a total absence of strength (or even interest) to protect their own families -- their own children! -- from the myriad politicians, unelected bureaucrats and, of course, the "medical experts", the Left have a solid basis to remain fearless and un-intimidated by American "men".
Civil disagreement is OK with me. BTW, I agree that Trump has not gone after anyone...yet. If he manages to get elected and into office, he needs to surround himself with bare-knuckle fighters and go after the leftists embedded in government. Will he? probably not enough to satisfy me.
His next term will be no different. If they won’t make q deal, he will not act
I disagree (but that's what makes this a lively forum -- I only wish it could be more civil at times). I have more confidence in Trump than I do any other human being at this time. Others hate him, even on this site.
I figure his first term he found himself up to his ass in alligators. And I figure when you're up to your ass in alligators, it's more about finding your way around them than deciding which alligator to go after.
He had all intention of draining the swamp; but then, there were alligators everywhere.

Roger that! Reports of being terrified help lull conservatives into a feeling of safety and comfort. I have little doubt the left will do ANYTHING to keep PDJT from ever taking office again. I repeat, ANYTHING!

One can hope. However, he appointed two attorneys general who did nothing. Somebody tell me where is the prospective AG who would actually jail even a few of these “miscreants?” Please God! Let there be someone who will enforce the law!

It had better be a country we have no extradition agreement with. Most are $hitholes. Just offer to leave him alone in any of those countries. 4 years minimum. That’s punishment. Think Pete Rose and the HOF-still waiting after making his own bed.
All the Hollywood celebs who said they would leave the country if Trump were elected, back in 2016, never left. Unfortunately, they’re still here.
I don’t think Trump is a vindictive person. He’s up front and calls them on their drive-by cowardice. He doesn’t have to turn the knife like the left does after stealing the election.
