I say “Yes” too, but I side 100% with the Delta guy on this. From a customer service perspective there is a way to avoid this, and we all know “the customer is right” rule, but...

I don’t hold it it against him. That said, I am not his boss, and we know how that is likely to work out if his boss takes issue with it.

If they begin enforcing this where I work (using the “correct” pronouns in emails, etc) it is an easy out for me. I am already past retirement age and can leave whenever I want.

I said that on another thread of this topic yesterday. Now with Delta confirming “they’re aware” it’s just a matter of days. Those days are needed to sort out the legal ease of the situation. Yep the dude will be fired and I pray he sues the pants off Delta.

The employee won’t be fired.

The story will either be memory holed...

Or Delta will try to pay the employee to go away...as long as he signs an NDA.
