Because this is a proxy war , where advanced weapons are being passed by both sides to their proxies to attack surface ships.

Allied ships are under threat from the Houthis right now. But I suspect the mass drone attacks are probing attacks to run down defense missile stores and observe defense strategies.

Zeepers think it is funny when US proxies use advanced US weapons to destroy Russian ships. But I think we will see an “atomic bomb”sized tantrum from Zeepers if Russian proxies using advanced Russian weapons destroy US surface ships.
