A Florida state trooper was seen on video accidentally pulling over a fellow officer after attempting a high-risk maneuver while attempting to catch a suspect in a police chase.
State Trooper Walner Wroy was dispatched on November 29 to handle reports of a reckless, speeding motorist in the Miami Gardens area.
Wroy located a Kia Stinger while on a freeway and turned on his lights in an attempt to get the car to pull over.
The driver didn't stop and instead, went through multiple red lights at illegal speeds before getting out on an exit.
Wroy eventually hit the rear of the car, which spun out and stopped just shy of him, as seen on dash cam video.
The driver turned out to be Cory Krotenberg, a police captain in the Miami suburb of Opa-Locka.
Krotenberg activates his flashing blue and red police lights, identifying him as law enforcement, according to Local 10.
The captain is clearly stunned at having been pulled over and nearly crashed into by a fellow officer.
'You ******* kidding me?' Krotenberg tells the stunned trooper while raising his hands in the air.
'Oh, I got the wrong car,' Wroy says, realizing his error. 'I didn't see the light in the back.'
Officials said that Krotenberg was working as part of an anti-gang sting across multiple agencies and trying to pursue a suspect of his own, whom police believed was engaging in a violent crime.
Krotenberg was being helped to track the suspect by a police chopper flying above him.
'It was a blacked out car,' he said to State Trooper Wroy. 'I was right on his aβ!'

They have traffic lights on Florida Freeways?
There’s a few highways in FL that have multiple lanes, and both traffic lights and off ramps. It’s weird. There’s a couple here in MO too.
“Florida Man” applies to their cops too, apparently.
Watch the video. He got off the freeway and was on the surface for a bit.
The Captain was driving recklessly without his emergency lights. Even though the trooper TVI’d the wrong car, he made the right move.

I agree. They are not above the law, and they sure as heck do not a license to put the public at risk with reckless endangerment blowing stop signs.
Well, we all know that if it hadn’t happened prior, it had to happen eventually.
