Incredible video of an enormous alligator devouring a python in Florida's Everglades was filmed by a passing cyclist earlier this week.
Alison Joslyn, who is an endurance athlete and has a passion for wildlife photography, caught the shocking sight as she was out on her bike, training.
'That's one less python to terrorize the Everglades.' she wrote after posting pictures and video online after cycling through the Shark Valley area of Everglades National Park.

Not just cats. Plenty of stories about small and mid sized dogs. Since they are always out in the woods, hunting dogs are common victims of alligators.
and what gets me is the amount of freepers who peddle it. thats why I totally stopped clicking into APOD and the like posts. to me fake pictures and titles are no different than fake news. soon I'll leave this last source of info because of it.
No, not really. Pythons and alligators and wild/feral pigs are found all over Central Florida from Miami north to the Tampa-Orlando-Daytona Beach line. And quite a few north of there too!
It is frustrating, calling your boss in the morning: “I’m going to be bit late. The pig in front of me on the road doesn’t want to move yet. And he’s bigger than my rental car.”
Or seeing a dead python by the median. Big around as a telephone pole.
I’m assuming that was before the snake infestation.
