President Trump proved that abundant, inexpensive energy is right under our feet. Combine that with the ‘transformative’ reactors and we could soar.
There is one large bugaboo in all of this. Abundant, inexpensive energy leads directly to more freedom for everyone. This is anathema to the Deep State and the Ruling Class. Oh, do not worry, they will build as many of these reactors as they desire for themselves. The rest of us will continue to have brown outs, blackouts, and be ‘encouraged’ to ride a bicycle.
On Free Republic, it is Bump For Later.
It bumps the thread if you look at latest posts, and makes it easier to find later.
That’s more for when you add a bunch of people to the To: line so they see the thread.
Finally. Some smart people working on next gen energy that will actually work
Westinghouse? They still in business? Who owns them?
Can it explode or meltdown? Either of those two scenarios would be detrimental.
Cue the usual green zealots and their brain dead masses to condemn and try to ban this great idea.
Won’t explode. Wrong fuel, different enrichment and construction.
No. It’s not a Tesla.

Thanks for posting.
“...a single megawatt...produces energy similar to what is used by 400 to 900 homes...”
Is that with EVs or without? /s
You/others should avoid linking ‘cooldown’ articles: They are a lefty propaganda source growing in popularity for dissemination of climate propaganda. I was going to post a vanity expose` but I’ve been a bit busy...

I didn’t see the type of fuel they used. Is it thorium?

I've wanted one of these since I first saw it in the 1980s!
