I was off a bit when I said 600 years before the Birth of Christ but not that much. 1600 B.C. would have been during Israel's time in Egypt. For instance, David became King around 1000 B.C.

Various sources state The Prophet wrote the book named after him from around 740 B.C. to 680 B.C.

CDY, it was not in the time of Tertulliun. Tang-Soo's original post indicated Before Christ.
