By saying “our” do you refer to America or Russia?” It’s unclear...
If you meant America, obviously you would be profoundly mistaken.
We live in the 21st century, America does NOT annex countries. Period.

Russia on the other hand is annexing sovereign nations non-stop.
In recent times Russia annexed Moldova, Georgia, Crimea, Donbas, and is now attempting to annex all of Ukraine. And Russia is now threatening to take the Baltic NATO States and Finland... and heck a high ranked Russian politician even wants to take back Alaska for God’s sake...

But you say it’s America the bully?? You are joking right?
What do you call Russia’s annexations of the countries and regions I mentioned above? An act of kindness?
What about the hundreds of thousands deaths Russia has caused in annexing those places? Is it an “act of kindness” according to you??

Thus, how on earth could I get my own boots in Ukraine? I am a supporter of Western policies. Remember?

However, the fact you seem to be avoiding is that Russia HAS BOOTS ON THE GROUND in Ukraine! 400.000 Russian soldiers! You don’t complain about that... Why?

But you endlessly complain about the West, while knowing full well THEY have ZERO boots on the ground in Ukraine. You are illogical.

Thus, here is my suggestion to you:
1. Complain more about the AGGRESSOR (Russia)
2. Complain less about the defenders (America, Europe, Ukraine (part of Europe), Israel)

Your statement is false.
A clear majority of Americans (54%) want to continue helping Ukraine to defend not only itself, but at the same time Europe and AND America by severely depleting and crippling Russias military capability. Only 43% of Americans prefer to find a way to end the war quickly, by letting Ukraine lose territory.

Here's a proper analogy:

Imagine a train full of Ukrainians. The majority are Ukrainian nationalists, a good number of neo-Nazis leanings. The rest are ethnically Russian and/or don't care for the Ukraine nationalists and neo-Nazis. These two groups dislike each intensely.

A conductor has managed to keep the peace on the train. But, the Ukrainian nationalists want the ethnic Russians and their allies off the train. So, they throw the conductor off the train, hijack it and demand the ethnic Russians and their supporters jump off the train. They refuse to do so. One of the Russians on the train has ties to the Russian government and requests its help to rescue himself and the others being threatened. The Russia government agrees to intervene and saves the lives of the passengers.

Your analogy is desperately forgetting to mention one thing... that “the train” you are talking about is actually UKRAINE. Thus, if Ukrainians are nationalists within Ukraine’s borders, what is the problem?? They can be nationalists in their very own country, right?

Russia’s Government is both Neo Soviet and nationalist. Right? That have the right to be that way, but ONLY WITHIN Russia! They can’t play Russian nationalists in OTHER NATIONS, in nations which aren’t theirs to begin with. Right?

You do know that the “conductor” (Viktor Yanukovych) you are talking about has acted as an absolute Russian SPY working foremost for Russia’s interests while he was president for Ukraine!
Viktor Yanukovych, president of Ukraine at the time, actually asked Russia to invade Ukraine with Russian troops in order to eliminate patriotic Ukrainian demonstrators!
That is called HIGH TREASON.

Imagine if Reagan had said: “Hey Russia, please invade America so you can eliminate our American Patriots!” Well in such a scenario Reagan would have gotten the death penalty for high treason. Right?

By the way... Viktor Yanukovych is now hiding in Russia, well protected by his Russian employers in the Kremlin.

There’s a significant Ukrainian community here in northern England been here for years. The eldest are all Russian speakers only because they grew up when the Ukrainian language was being forcibly suppressed, yet they are the “ethnic Russians” that Putin and Denisov lie about constantly.

Most of them are from the Donbas.

They’re not here to get away from Nazis. They’re here to get away from a tiny minority within a minority of delusional Russian Ukrainians who hijacked power in Donetsk thinking that they’d get very rich and powerful very quickly if they sided with Putin to drag south Ukraine into Russia’s borders.

Donbas hasn’t once seen democracy and the rule of law under the DPR. The DPR doesn’t have any democratic legitimacy. It never had popular support even in Donetsk.

It’s an armed takeover by the worst kind of gangsters.... The ones who are fully brainwashed members of the cult of Revanchism, making the rules up as they go and spouting complete lies in their defense.

They jumped the gun in 2014 by taking over Donetsk and Lugansk thinking they’d have as easy a ride as the Russian hijackers operating in Crimea. They were met with 80% apathy and passive resistance, but increased the membership of the Ukrainian far right nationalists.

At one point the klepto Vranyo merchants whined to Moscow that they needed boots on the ground because they couldn’t even rally 500 citizens into a public square for a demonstration.

They were that unpopular even in the cities under their control, they feared imminent revolt. Denisov was so desperate to hang on that he manufactured an “imminent genocide” against Russian Ukrainians that was never going to happen, and “evacuated” thousands into Russia, to convince the Kremlin to finally put boots on the ground.

Mark my words. When this war ends, Denisov and the other separatists will join Stremousov in the pile of scapegoats meeting unfortunate accidents, and Putin will put them all in the frame for exaggerating their case

THEREFORE, by Grey rocking just skimming over their “foolishness” of their comments refuses to reward their behavior!

Emotional abuse from these individuals include a range of tactics to either deliberately harm or exploit a person to benefit themselves.

• intentionally humiliating a person
• calling them names
• deliberately attempting to make a person feel worthless or unsafe [I know where you live]
• attempting to control the opinion or POV of another Freeper

Practical application for the Gray Rock method on Free Republic: we all can recognize the insulting, name-calling Freepers using “Garbage truck behavior.”

Ukraine rates the 4th in the number of people recognized as “Righteous Among the Nations” for saving Jews during the Holocaust.

The history of the Jews in Ukraine goes back over a thousand years. Jewish communities have existed in the territory of Ukraine from the time of the Kievan Rus’ (late 9th to mid-13th century). Some of the most important Jewish religious and cultural movements, from Hasidism to Zionism, rose either fully or to an extensive degree in the territory of modern Ukraine. According to the World Jewish Congress, the Jewish community in Ukraine constitutes the third-largest in Europe and the fifth-largest in the world.

In the Ukrainian People’s Republic (1917-1920), Yiddish was declared a state language, along with Ukrainian and Russian. At that time, the Jewish National Union was created and the community was granted an autonomous status.

Yiddish was used on Ukrainian currency in this same period, between 1917 and 1920. Before World War II, slightly less than 1/3 of Ukraine’s urban population consisted of Jews; they were the largest national minority in Ukraine.

More than one million Jews were shot and killed by the Einsatzgruppen [paramilitary death squads of Nazi Germany] were responsible for mass-murder, primarily by shooting, during World War II (1939–1945) in German-occupied Europe.

As ordered by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, the Wehrmacht cooperated with the Einsatzgruppen, providing logistical support for their operations, and participated in the mass murders. Historian Raul Hilberg estimates that between 1941 and 1945 the Einsatzgruppen, related agencies, and foreign auxiliary personnel murdered more than two million people, including 1.3 million of the 5.5 to 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.

I don’t. Some of the people doing these things are actual Russians and it’s their job. You can test them by asking them to say something nice about America.

Keep in mind this is Free Republic. That shouldn’t be a big challenge around here.

But for some it is.

Granted, a few genuinely hate America and that makes you wonder why they’re here.

And then there’s those that always vomit on America, they hate our allies, and they always speak of Russia and Putin in the most glowing terms. If you watch Russian media you’ll see these people parrot Russian talking points just hours after you hear them on Russian media.

After some time of seeing this pattern over and over it’s clear this is no coincidence.

And, of course, they’ll be along shortly to call me delusional, insane, disturbed, paranoid or some other extremely popular Russian form of insult.

They can’t help it. It’s their job.
