Me either. Youtube is full of videos like this.
We’ve taken a few cruises. The trick to a comfortable trip is take it when the ocean is historically calm where you will be going.
A cruise in the North Sea? I can’t imagine any opportune time in that part of the Atlantic.

That sounds like a fairly small boat. By today’s standards 2500 to 3000 passengers is normal.
