Because the supreme court would have to agree that he engaged in rebellion.
Meaning every other state could be enjoined.
So a simple 4-3 decision by judges in some jerkwater state could change the course of a national election? How very egalitarian of them.
The Supremes would not necessarily have to pass on the factual issue to possibly uphold the Colorado decision and I don’t there is any way they would.
