There is a meme circulating from the left asserting that Donald J. Trump is autographing bibles. Maybe you've seen it.
The text reads as follows:
"When the man who embodies all 7 deadly sins-lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride-is signing bibles it means that it is time to reevaluate your religion"
The image is tripartite, with Trump's autograph overlayed on the cover of a bible on the two left thirds, and Trump looking downward and an object much smaller than a bible.
Maybe there is a FReeper who can locate and post an image, but for now I just want to "prove" (as if anything can be proven to fools), that the left two images are fake, and that Donald Trump does not go around autographing bibles.
I'm still surprised that "sloth" produces a multi-million dollar private business, but I digress.
The moronic mendacity that attends the left is laughable. Still, I'd like to shove a little "proof" in their faces.
That said, I have a life to live, and I know my place in life is not to exert vengance. Nevertheless I invite expertise in the spirit of Buckhead to analyze and decimate this manifest lie.

Is the assertion that Trump is not evil as the left claims?
Or is it that Trump didn’t sign Bibles?
Let’s admit, Trump can sign as many Bibles as he wants.
Indeed, just on the face of it it is preposterous. But here I am interacting with the delusional. Is it even our place, or within our capacity to disabuse them? Regardless, they are asking for “proof.”
If churches banned those who commit 7 deadly sins, they would be completely empty.
As for *my* assertion it is simply that the images are fake, and that Donald Trump does not go around signing bibles.
As for *the memes* assertion, which is hardly worthy of rebuttal, there is too much to debunk on the face of it, let alone the fact that all mortal flesh is subject to each and every one of those sins.
He may embody some of them, but in no way have I seen sloth from the man. Therefore the meme is stupid.
I totally agree. What galls me is hearing the left take biblical notions and twist them, as if they are immune from the holy wrath of God.
Trump has signed bibles, what is the big deal the guy is complaining about?

The gist of listing sins is so that one may examine himself, not others.
That Bible Trump had as he marched to that DC Church that had been torched by thugs of BLM/ANTIFA should be in the Smithsonian!
My sense is that the meme-maker, ignorant as he is, thinks a sinner signing a bible should cause Christians to reevaluate their beliefs.
Here is some background on it.
I don’t mean to rain on your parade, but debunking something that obviously false and malignant is not only a waste of time, but actually lends credibility to it, by implying that it is a subject worthy of debate.
It’s like offering to debate whether or not Trump is Hitler. Anyone who believes that should keep his distance from me - or what they get will not be a debate.
I have lots of handwritten notes in my Bible. Does that mean I’ve signed it? Or just made notes? My name is in it, twice. Once to show who owns it, and the second for the Baptism record.
Understood.
But I still say that the idea of Trump signing Bibles is a good thing, not a bad thing.
