Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito and the owner of a New Jersey pizzeria who was steaming over an autograph signing gone terribly wrong broke bread — and a whole lot more — Tuesday afternoon.
Over a meal of pizzas, chicken parm and sodas mixed from an antique machine, DeVito, members of his new marketing team and Nino Coniglio — owner of Coniglio’s Old Fashioned in Morristown — agreed to a charitable solution that mends most fences in a viral feud, as witnessed by The Post.
Coniglio originally advertised a Tuesday appearance by DeVito at his restaurant but cancelled after he said DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato, doubled the allegedly previously agreed-upon appearance fee for two hours and 250 autographs from $10,000 to $20,000 in response to the quarterback’s shining moment when the Giants beat the Packers. Stellato was noticeably absent from Tuesday’s sit-down and it later became clear that he has been replaced as DeVito’s marketing representative.

Sean Stellato- have you seen that guy? Talk about perpetuating a stereotype......he looks like he just walked out of Godfather III
I’ve seen a lot of Italians use that hand gesture. Definitely not a gang sign.
It's refreshing to see men in public life talking, and acting, like real men. We've seen entirely too much, in public life, of whining about "disrespect", childish name-calling, excuse making, maximization of offense ...
I understand it to indicate approval of some person, thing, or situation.
where is Tony Soprano when you need him?
Italian gesture meaning, “What?” As in, What do you want? or What do you got to say?
Yeah. I’ve seen it used a lot when talking food. 😁
Man, I want some of that real pizza. We’re starved for authentic pizza places in Georgia. There’s so few and prices…$35 for a decent pizza and that doesn’t cover delivery.
I am in the football business and know Stellato- he’s as big a clown in person as he seems during interviews. He acts as though he’s represented the Mannings, Tom Brady and reps Pat Mahomes- yet he’s never been anything other than a third tier agent in his career that reps low hanging fruit. He’s one of those people who act as though he’s doing you a favor when you speak with him.
Devito’s success is fleeting as will be Stellato’s celebrity.
It can mean a zillion things, including “WTF????!!!”
Remember “fuhgetaboutit” in Donnie Brasco??
Thanks, I’m north of Atlanta in Woodstock. Our best pizza is “Peace, Love and Pizza” around here. But I have lived in Rochester, NY and Boston, MA and Providence, RI. So, I’m familiar with mom and pop family pizza places that have been around for generations and are hard to complete with, regarding authentic pizza. You don’t find those in the south very often and certainly not in driving distance for me.
Try Jeff Varasano’s pizza joint in Atlanta. He is from the Bronx and wrote/researched extensively how to make a NY pizza outside of NY.

If you want to make your won, here is Jeff Varansano’s pizza making and recipe page. Good info on that page for making great pies.

Thanks so much for the links…I’ve become a “decent” pizza and bread baker but no pro. In reading that recipe link, I see some of my own experiences mentioned and am going to try some of his techniques. Very informative and I’ve not seen such a thorough recipe page before. Definitely piques my interest.
