Wow, the word “iconic” sure seems to have been diluted. I’ve heard of a couple of the shows he was on.
Sorry to hear of yet another death likely hastened by the vax

I clicked on the post in case there was a picture of the person, because sometimes you recognize the face but not the name.
That didn't work, so now I have to find an audio to see if I recognize the voice. But I am not in a hurry, because I have a low expectation of success.
So what exactly does "iconic" mean these days?

Iconic? I thought that maybe once I saw a picture of him I’d say, “Oh, him!” Nope.
We cut our cable 12 years ago and we rarely go to the movies, so I don’t recognize 95% of these “famous” actors.

Iconic tends to mean someone (or their work) who most everybody has heard of.
In this context with this person, not so much. No clue who he is or what he's done.
That said, his death is no less sad to the people who loved him.

***Wow, the word “iconic” sure seems to have been diluted.***
So many “Iconic” actors I have never heard of suddenly dying young. Maybe he was not so “iconic” after all.
Now when one from the 1950s, 60s or 70s passes away it makes me feel “old”.
To: Red Badger
“iconic”?? I couldn’t pick him out of a lineup even if I had his picture in hand. Sorry to hear of his demise but ‘iconic’?
