I’m very happy Jesus didn’t have to be in Bethlehem in the winter cold and darkness.... But was born on the 1st of Nissan, the first day of spring when all little lambs were born.

What a wonderful account. With the right script and screenplay (where people are real people displaying grace but not displaying wooden attempts to appear “righteous”), this could be a wonderful movie.

Neither Luke nor Matthew mentions a donkey, but artists always seem to have Mary riding on a donkey.
