I was threatened tonight to be put “in the hospital a long time” by a prominent San Francisco real estate developer because I’m a Republican.
It’s in a text exchange. Have screenshots.
Called me a “MAGA bitch.”
Should I name him?
As I just said in a private thread, I’m sick of being threatened in this town because I’m a Republican.
I’m furious at the moment. Want to sleep on it.
I pushed back against his insults but did not threaten violence against this person.
He brought that up all on his own.

Time to move out of San Francisco. It’s becoming more of a hellhole every year. Being a developer, what does he hope to develop there with drug addicts and homeless pooping around businesses?
Hopefully, he’s packing.
An area that seems ripe for Republicans willing to have some fun.

He is Chairman of the SF GOP, on the state committee as Chair of Chairs, lives here and runs his business here.

As for the first, “MAGA”, Make America Great Again is necessary, even Joe Biden says “Build Back Better”.
At some point China may cut off the US, so the US needs to rebuild its manufacturing capabilities.
A real estate developer should have enough brains to know that his problems of today are due to the federal reserve and the dims working together.
His only hope is that Trump will be president again and reverse the insane policies of the FED.
I don’t doubt the story but I suspect the developer is not doing this on his own. I suspect he is about to crash and he has been offered “help” for his services.
If he’s got to ask, he has already capitulated.

There would be NO hesitation in doing something on my part. That was a “Physical Threat of Violence.” I’d bring the evidence to the cops and let them investigate. If something happens, then it’s on the guy and the cops. Just saying.

I was once cussed out by the attorney of a prominent (and super rich democrat real estate developer) back in the mid 80s.
I was basically speechless and could not believe what I was hearing. Still today I cannot believe it, but I did learn some things.
I did try to sue, and granted he had an technical argument, but I was confident that I was right and would prevail eventually.
Then tribal schmoozing or something happened between him an the head atty in legal department of the financial firm I worked for and everything turned into nothingness.
