I think this whole concert is available on youtube. Phenomenal production. Great songs.
As good as the music is, to watch the audience take that stroll with them - while singing every word - makes it that much better.
I believe he is still touring.
Nothing scheduled to my knowledge.
I saw ELO live on several occasions.
Wonderful show, even at the shabby, antiquated (now defunct) Boston Garden.
You’re fortunate on 2 fronts there. Now tell me you saw Bird and Maravich play on that floor together and I’ll be eternally jealous.
I just wish I could have seen them when they still had Kelly Groucutt, Bev Bevan and Hugh McDowell.
If you hear of any events in the US, please let me know. That would definitely be a great show!
No, but I did see John Lee Hooker, Mississippi John Hurt, and Charlie Mingus at the Jazz Workshop.
Sonny Terry and brownie MaGee at Passims in Cambridge.
And B.B. King at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek.
Frank Zappa FIVE Times.
The Allman Brothers several times.
Dob Dylan several times.
Isaac Hayes.
Smokey Robinson.
The Tempts and the Tops (TNT SHOW)
Santana (many times in 50 years, both in Fl and MA.)
Eric Clapton at the NEW Boston Garden.
(At the old Tea Party) Grateful Dead, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Led Zeppelin (as a warm-up act, can you believe it?) and ten Years After.
And many more, but I can’t remember because I was not entirely conscious at the time. LOL.
Never stayed at a Holiday Inn though.
check out #9.
Boston in the 1960’s was the place to be. :-)
Now it’s in the clutches of Mayor Wu.
Can you hear me doctor?
Well I have done all of those. In fact, I carry a copy of the Constutution and D of I in my purse, along with my little affirmation of the second amendment.
Am watching a livestream right now of a rally in Durham NH, while simultaneously posting on a music thread.
How bout you?
ELO still trots out Richard Tandy from time to time, whether he is a regular,I have no idea.
The Langley sisters are sure easier on the eyes than Mik Kaminsky.
Can’t touch that, but saw some good shows at PSU Rec Hall back in the day. ARS was a $7 ticket and they blew me away (R. VanZant said they were the tightest southern rock band). Saw the Dead, The Outlaws, Allmans, Dylan, Jackson Browne, J. Geils, Thorogood, Southside Johnny all there.
Saw Cheap Trick at Bucknell right after Budokan. I was 15 I think.
Cool! I forgot to mention Lynyrd Skynnard at Mohegan Sun.
Oh and “YES” at the old Lynn City Hall.
I know. Wierd.
I also went to the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops regularly, as well as Gilbert & Sullival by D’oyly Carte Opera Co. with my Dad back in the day.
He played the Stereo batter than anybody! LOL!

Excellent artist and group.
He probably plays a little Traveling Wilburys too.
