Prolly eco-terrorists saving Mudder Erf.
You’re probably right!
What I was referring to by saying “THE” Con Edison was a reference to this case:
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/the-mad-bomber-strikes-in-new-york
The way they caught the Mad Bomber was that he used the definite article in inapropriate places (THE Con Edison). They detected a Slavic “tone” to the notes because Russian and other Slavic Languanges don’t have the definite article. People who learn English as a second language after speaking Russian or Polish all their lives often use the Definite Article TOO MUCH and inappropriately. This was detected in the Mad Bomber’s letters. They looked specifically for a disgruntled ex-employee of Con Edison who had a Slavic name.
Modern accounts of that detective work often leave out that little tidbit. I have no idea why. Maybe it’s Politically Incorrect?
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody caught it.
I’m getting old, I guess. LOL.
