Yes these remedies work. My Grandmother used to do this. Potatoes work as well. These plants draw out toxins. All we have to do is get back to nature. The Rockefellers outlawed these natural remedies and put us on unnatural drugs that only made us sick!

Chop up an onion. Put half of onion into a bag, half in another bag. Put bare feet into bags. Pull socks over bags. Go to sleep.
I think it makes sense given the onion and brown sugar cough remedy.
My father was born in 1911. I remember hearing him tell the story once of his mother’s putting onions on the soles of his feet when he was funning a fever.
